Stopped by Urban Plates in Brea and ordered the grilled chicken plate and the chicken tender plate. Both were fresh, hot, and generously portioned. The grilled chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the tenders were crispy on the outside but tender inside.
The sides tasted fresh and not overly heavy, which I appreciate. Restaurant was clean and service was quick and friendly. Solid spot if you’re looking for something casual but still quality. Would definitely come back.

Francisco provided absolutely excellent service! He is incredibly charming, funny, and very attentive to every detail, which made the entire experience so much more enjoyable.
We truly loved having him assist us—he brings such a great energy and care to his work. The salmon and steak plates we ordered were also incredible.
Fantastic first experience at this joint. We ordered our food, found a spot to seat ourselves, the food came, and we had a great time. On top of that the service staff were amazing as several different staff members came to ask if we had all we needed as we had a little one in our group. They made the entire experience as smooth as butter. The food was super fresh and tasty. I didn’t get to capture all the dishes we ordered as some folks couldn’t wait to dig in, but all the dishes were well presented to the groups liking. After we were mid-meal, one of the service team came through the seating area, handing out cookies to all the kiddos in the room that wanted one. And these cookies were gigantic, bigger than our faces! Needless to say, our kiddo had a much better time afterwards. The food here is great, but the service is what seals the deal for us.
Yummy, yummy! We had such a great dinner at Urban Plates tonight. Carmen helped us and she was AMAZING! Super knowledgeable about all the food and the drinks. She literally helped us try multiple drinks until we found the perfect ones. Total rockstar service!
I ordered the steak with salad and beets (so good!) and B went full comfort-food mode with chicken fingers, fries, and mac & cheese. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving.
Highly recommend stopping by… and if you’re lucky, hope you get Carmen! 🙌✨
Decide to stop by Urban Plates tonight…haven’t been here in a while and noticed a few changes…guy by the name of James helped guide me through the menu and offered some suggestions…he said to try their dragon fruit drink and the hummingbird cake…both were great recommendations!
We had a great experience at Urban Plates! Francisco went above and beyond to make our visit special. He was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and friendly throughout our meal. What really stood out was how kind he was to my two small kids he surprised them with cowgirl cookies, which absolutely made their day.
It’s little gestures like that that turn a simple meal into a memorable experience. Thank you, Francisco, for the excellent service and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
