Excellent, sleek upscale steakhouse with wonderful food and service. The ingredient quality was top notch. There's plenty of free lots, but can be busy during peak hours.

iceberg wedge salad- really well done
grilled bacon steak- very flavorful and fatty. Their meat quality was superb
duroc pork chop- it's a thick cut but it was incredibly tender and flavorful still
shrimp scampi- very good and balanced. rich but with plenty of flavor
creamed spinach- pretty good

Old Brea Chophouse delivered a really enjoyable dinner with a few standout items and a couple of misses.
I ordered the Wagyu ribeye cooked medium rare. While it wasn’t the best Wagyu steak I’ve ever had, it was still a very good steak overall. I found it a little under seasoned and slightly drier than I expected, especially for Wagyu.
I also upgraded it with the lobster meat, and unfortunately that was the biggest disappointment of the night. It had virtually no flavor and didn’t add anything to the dish, so I’d save the extra money and skip that upgrade.
My boyfriend ordered the Delmonico steak, and honestly, I liked it better than my Wagyu. It was well seasoned, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If I came back, I’d be tempted to order that instead.
The cocktails were the highlight of the evening. I don’t remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it was their take on a Sidecar,
Made Valentines reservations 3 weeks prior to the day. Upon arrival, the host staff girls unenthusiastically greeted us while looking me up and down, and then awkwardly checked us in. As someone who previously worked in food service - I hope that they are not typically catty like that to high paying customers or they will miss out on returning customers with that as a first impression. I will not let their attitude dampen this review because the rest of the night was fantastic. Our server Tiffany brightened up our experience - she was super sweet, attentive, and happy to recommend dishes/ drinks. She recited all current specials and popular menu items from memory without missing a beat. She also suggested sides/ cocktail pairings for our entrees. We got a scotch cocktail (don't recall the name) that had Bénédictine liquor in it - it added so much more warmth and dimension to the cocktail
Old Brea Chop House was definitely an interesting experience. Keeping in mind it was a busy night, I did have reservations and arrived on time, but still had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seated, which was a little disappointing.
We started with the grilled oysters, and those were honestly one of the highlights of the night. They were flavorful, cooked well, and I definitely wish we had ordered more.
For entrées, we tried the burger. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it was just okay, nothing particularly memorable or standout. The fries that came with it were actually better than the burger itself. It was crispy, well seasoned, and probably the stronger part of the dish.

Service was great and the staff were very friendly. The salad with salmon and crab cake were fresh and delicious. The Bone-in Ribeye and Lobster were tasty and well-cooked, and we absolutely loved the Warm Butter Cake—it’s a must-order!
Unfortunately, the Bone-in Filet was a letdown. The plate presentation looked a bit funny and the plate itself didn't look clean, which was especially noticeable under the camera. Additionally, despite ordering it medium-plus, the meat was still quite raw near the bone. While the vibes and service were excellent, the inconsistent cooking on the steaks was disappointing.
